I bought two - one for him and one for me. Once I figured out that I had to first install the top piece of plastic on the side of the ON/OFF button, it was literally easy. All buttons can be operated with a fingertip, a requirement for people without fingernails. Oh wait: the top mute button is recessed, requiring a strong fingernail. If you don't have a long nail, you solve the problem by turning down the volume. The case is bigger than I would like, but a minor inconvenience compared to the consequences of a broken phone. Let's face it, the Apple 7+ is a slippery device and not particularly user-friendly. This expensive device must be protected by rubber and plastic protection and the rubber buttons must be easy to operate. Oh ho, I'm starting to rant. . . For the price and simplicity, this is what you need. PS I could really use a universal phone and wallet case, but after my 4th experience I gave up. This simpler case is my choice. I only downgraded the star rating to 4 because (1) it didn't have instructions for a secret combo to install and (2) it's bulky but doesn't slip out of my hand easily. I like that it's bright yellow.
