reliable and cheap product. with a problem. There is an odd variability in the product. I used them to support large decorative reclaimed beams. I left about 5 inches open when I cut off the heads. I have found that some cut much easier than others. It was pretty clear that some of them were just heavier metal than others. When I realized I hadn't cut enough and did a second pass and removed another 1/2 inch, they were the same which were soft across the board. However, at a great price and none of them have been ripped off like cheap lags do.
