Great product for the price
I attached this (large side) to my door (1.5" thick) and it holds my wall cabinet on the other side. It does its job very well and I am very happy with the purchase. The large side of the hook is 2 1/4" wide (this is the actual gap) and the smaller side is 1 3/8" wide.
