Higher heel, compressed foot
Bought for my 6 year old who has outgrown his previous tap dances. The heel of these shoes is slightly higher than usual. My son reclaimed them because they punctured his toe and the smoke is very harsh, he is used to a hard sole that can bend a bit like his dance teachers. He returned the shoes and instead took a pair of the same ones as his old ones.
