The boots are super comfortable even from the first fit. I took the advice of other reviews and sized up, which ended up being the wrong choice for me as they're too big now, but obviously it does depend on the fit and the person, so I would probably still recommend sizing up since most others have said the same thing. One thing the reviews did not mention is the squeaking. I know they're new and they need to be broken in, but these shoes squeak so much, even if I barely move. Obviously I have to break them in for them to stop squeaking, but the squeaking makes me not want to wear them because the sound is so grating and it makes me self-conscious. Like I said, the boots are great, just beware of the squeaking.
