As I have multiple bikes and didn't want one for each bike I was hoping to carry this over from bike to bike. I never thought installation would be such a chore. You will need a hex wrench (included) each time. Because the screw heads don't face outward to easily turn the wrench, patience is required every time you try to remove it from one bike and install it on another. It also appears to be made from decent quality materials, and while it's not very durable, it feels strong enough to hold a smartphone securely. I had no trouble riding my mountain bike on paved roads. I went through some small bumps and potholes but nothing major. I have some concerns about long-term use. Plastic parts are only connected to one another by friction (sliding into one another). While they seem to be holding up well now, that can change over time due to vibration and temperature changes.
