Overall this light works very well and has excellent brightness. The chain tensioner looks well built and feels premium, unlike some that feel weaker. The body of the light is also well constructed, with a painted steel frame and plastic tips that feel nice and sturdy. My only complaint is that the screw slots on either end (on the back of the mount) face different directions, making it impossible to use both sets of slots to attach the mount to a surface. This may not be an issue if you wall mount it vertically, but I assume most people will want to ceiling mount the light or horizontally on the wall. In each of these cases, the existing mounting holes do not provide a sufficiently secure fit, particularly for a traction chain mount that is subject to regular force to engage and disengage. An easy fix to this problem is to just drill through the sheet metal in the center of the bracket, but that may not be as convenient for some people as it has been for me.
