Review on Enhanced ROKR Mechanical Christmas Valentines: Unleash the Upgraded Magic by Terry Gernes

The end product of this set is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorites. However, of the kits I've tried from this company so far, it has to be my least favorite build. I don't know if it's because it's colored, but a lot of the details just don't add up. Many of the interlocking pieces are actually too large to fit together and require excessive grinding to fit together. The same goes for the dowels that add articulation to the model. Many of them were too big to go through the points and had to be sanded down for a few minutes. Still, it was difficult to fit the details. Pins that weren't too big were actually too small and couldn't hold the articulation. Every time I try to place my right hand, my fingers go limp and often fall off completely. The instructions were less clear than usual which resulted in me having to try multiple times to properly assemble my leg for the articulation (I still can't bend my knees and I don't know why). All in all, despite the end product overall, the set was disappointing compared to other sets offered by the company.
