I gave this as a gift to several older people this year, but before I did, I took a Sharpie and wrote in black which battery type went in which compartment and which way the battery was supposed to face. The information is on the device (mostly), but it is in the same color as the plastic, very small, and impossible to see.This would be a 5-star device with clearer labeling. I love that you can test 9-volt, camera, and CR batteries on it, in addition to AAs, AAAs, Cs, and Ds.It was $13 when I bought it for holiday presents, and well worth that. Today it's $20, and somehow it's harder to say it's worth that. If the price drops down I'll definitely buy more - I ended up having to use as a gift the one I was intending to keep!
