I travel regularly and have just bought a new computer. I didn't have a privacy screen on my previous laptop, but I'm so glad I bought one to use on buses, trains, and planes, or to hide the fact that I'm checking my email during meetings. My colleagues bought one as soon as they saw mine. I like to toggle the magnet on and off so I can take it off to share my screen with others during meetings. The only issue I had was that others have found that the magnets are thick enough that the screen doesn't close tightly, but I travel with my laptop in a protective case so I haven't had any issues.
