Nice addition to a lanyard
Lanyards are great for carrying the camera but can be problematic when using a tripod, especially on windy days. These connectors offer the best of both worlds - the convenience of any camera strap you want to use that offers a quick release for tripod shooting. They are secure enough when busy that I'm not concerned about their ability to hold my camera.
