This thing is terrible. I don't think I had high expectations for the broom that comes in the box. But it's so stiff that I have a hard time moving in the driveway, so it takes a lot more power than it needs to. He leaves a lot behind. You can get some leaves and needles, but forget about the dirt. It also holds about half of what it sweeps, so after 10 minutes I just move the mass of crap it's collected and drop the pieces in new places instead of sweeping. It was difficult to assemble. Some parts didn't mix well with others, although we tried several configurations. I couldn't do it myself and my husband had to use brute force to get him to get together. I would not recommend it. This time we will invest a little more time and money and buy a higher quality broom at the hardware store.
