Andycine C6 In-Depth Review

Display The screen is a 6-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080. It has a brightness of 2600 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1200, according to AndyCine :1 and a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch The screen is bright and clear in my opinion, although the colors are a bit oversaturated. You can adjust image settings like contrast, saturation, hue, and sharpness, but I personally found setting the saturation to 40% gave the best results in image quality. The monitor software can be used with a combination of buttons, scroll wheel or touch screen. It's nice to have both options because if you're using the monitor in cold conditions you might want to wear gloves and the touchscreen isn't the easiest to use. Inputs, Outputs and Brackets The monitor is equipped with an HDMI type A input and output, through which you can easily route signals. The inputs and outputs are on the left side of the monitor, which is handy if you're using most mirrorless hybrids. The monitor is easy to assemble but I wish the HDMI ports were hidden. Because the connectors are on the side of the monitor, you need to be careful not to tangle the cable. Portability The monitor is quite light, weighing only 275g, making it more suitable for use with a hybrid mirrorless camera or a small digital cinema camera. .Price The C6 HDMI model retails for $280, which is a great price considering some screens can cost upwards of a thousand dollars. There aren't many other ultra-bright 6-inch touchscreen monitors in this price range. Package Contents The package contains accessories including: 1 battery, 1 charger, 1 mini HDMI cable, 1 micro HDMI cable, 1 carrying case, 1 tilt bracket. Monitor. It's bright, clear and the colors displayed are pretty accurate. Overall, the Andycine C6 is a good monitor if you're looking for a budget monitor, but even with its shortcomings, the price makes up for it and offers what you pay for.
