Doesn't work with memory cards Accessories

Bought this to connect my iPhone to the digital input on my Emotiva music streaming amp. It doesn't work at all for that purpose, like a real one. It might be ok for video, but it's not a direct replacement for the original Apple adapter. The seller must not present it as certified by Apple unless there is evidence that it is true.
