These modern day rags are a lot easier to manage than a bandana tied around my head - that's what I do because I can't do a (good) haircut. They are easy to set and remove. And while the fabric is thin, there's more of it than other headbands and it wicks sweat quite well. When I ride my bike, these things keep sweat from dripping down my face, nose, and chin, and that's all I can ask of them other than grooming my big, fluffy hair. The product itself has five stars but I am deducting one star because I feel they are overpriced for what they are. Finally, a note on size: if you're undecided, go for the medium size. My head circumference was right in between the two sizes and I'm very glad I chose the medium size.
