Doesn't work

Unfortunately I waited too long and missed the return window. I tried punching through a sheet of cardboard just to get a punch jam. Squeezing it from the bottom up with each hit I can get it to work, but what a pain. I contacted Fiskars to claim the lifetime warranty. I received an automated response that they were reserved and that I would receive an email response within 15-20 business days.
