We use old cell phones as GPS to track our travels. I've been looking for something to mount the phone to the steering wheel and it works pretty well, except for the fact that the locking mechanism and hardware are all plastic. Adjustment vibrated several times, me oh. I'm sure it won't take a hit to the ground or a tree, but I'm pretty sure it'll snap off rather than pierce me if I'm anything associated with it!
