Jacket is really soft inside and nice and fleecy on the outside. The small fits me fine through the shoulders, I am 5'6" and 135lbs thin build. The main "negative" is that it is really a bit long through the body--it comes to the tops of my legs. Cuffs are placket with a button. String around the hip is really long. I have not worn the jacket in super cold or windy conditions, but am not sure it would block the wind. I always wash everything before wear and one great feature.the inside pile lining did not shed much in the dryer.
