We got this to use on the brown side, but nice you have two options. Looks like and feels like a leather. We tried this on two different shaped desks. One was not rectangle and it didn't works at well and look as nice. It looks so good on a standard square or rectangle table. It looks more finished and adds a lot to the office. One of our computer mouses does not work well on the pad. It sticks a little. Then we tried a couple of other ones and it worked fine. You can just wipe it with a soapy towel and it cleans well. It also looks like it will wear well and last a long time. When we first got it, it came rolled up and it unrolled nicely and it lays flat.
