The matte finish makes this bottle feel good; and I prefer that it's not glossy or fingerprint magnet. The perfect size as it fits comfortably in your typical jeans back pocket while still holding a good 8 ounces. I put it through the bell and found no leaks. Customer service is fast. It's a good idea to have a retailer email you directly to give reassurance and confidence in what they're offering, but you always wonder how they're going to handle real-world problems. So: There was no bonus funnel in the bottle I received. I emailed them the same day; received a reply the same evening, apologizing for the error and advising to send it immediately; received within two days. So I'm happy with what I got - both in terms of the product and the service from the seller. I had to give one star because while it didn't bother me enough to request a refund or exchange, it seems to be a trend based on other reviews. I noticed that the resulting flask has a small indentation - very small but noticeable. It's a small perfect circle. In fact, I was wondering if something was done in production, some sort of printing on the material under a black matte finish. Like I said, not enough to really bother me; but others have reported the same thing, and in some cases slightly worse. The product comes in a cardboard "gift box" with no inner lining or clasps; The box comes in a soft envelope. The bottle is light enough that you won't think you'll get dented if you drop the soft case; The "gift" box was a bit worn like it had received a shock before being placed in the envelope. So I note this for the particularly discerning consumer: chances are you will see a ring in what you receive. Based on the service I received, I have no doubt that Future Hydrate will replace anything deemed unsatisfactory, but an improvement in quality control or packaging may need to be considered.
