It does a great job cleaning my grill. • Wash the grill with some soap and water. • Make sure it's dry. • Then put some of this polish on a sponge/rag and watch the magic happen. . It removes rust stains. It also removes that black color from metal. • Use only on metal parts. No plastic! Soap and water would clean these parts well enough. Your first sponge/rag will turn black fairly quickly. * To be honest, my grill looks brand new! Once you've done that, simply hose down the trays/replace the sheet pan drip tray and you're ready to grill next year.
