Great for photographers

First, remember that this monitor is gigantic. Watch a 27 inch TV and sit directly in front of it. I bought this monitor for photo editing because it has a great color display and you really won't find anything better with a smaller screen. And to be honest, the size doesn't bother me anymore, I just dim the brightness a bit :-) As a photographer, I highly recommend this monitor. For someone else I don't think it would be necessary.
