I bought two of these bags in case we ever need to pack all four of our cats into carriers. The only time I think we'll have to do that is during some sort of evacuation. We have two very good soft gusseted bags that were quite expensive. We take cats in pairs to the vet for check-ups and vaccinations. We never need more than two forwarders. However, I began to think about what we would do if we NEED to put all four cats in the car. I didn't want to buy two more expensive straps that are rarely used. These low-cost carriers are the perfect solution. They fit our 7 lb cat perfectly and are strong enough to carry our 12 lb cats around. Large cats can roll over in the carrier but cannot stand up fully. I wouldn't put our large 17 pound cat in one of these. I don't think the floor would be able to support its weight and I think the stretcher is likely to break with a heavy cat or with regular use. I have one in my living room right now for the cats to explore and play with. I'll keep it hidden and hopefully they'll never be needed.
