lays flat for storage and durable base

I bought this carrier for our second cat and have used it twice. The bottom is surprisingly strong. I thought it might bend with my cat's weight (13lbs) but it doesn't. It's a little difficult to zip up with a cat in it as the sides tend to collapse when you open it, but it's also difficult to get the cat inside (sorry it takes pressure to get my cats into their carrier get - you know it!) when it's already mostly zipped. Maybe I just need to work on my blitz and thrust technique. Once zippedโ€ฆ

  • Only available in white

Keep looking, the zipper wouldn't work and my cat ran away

The first time I used it today was to take my cat for surgery, first I noticed that it was weak and a bit small. I have a 10 lb cat and she takes up the entire carrier when seated but she might roll over. But the main reason for my review is that I am taking a kitten to the vet for surgery and we get there and a whole cat jumps in the front seat of my car! My cute kitten came outside of the carrier to say hello to Mom! The flash collapsed and she slipped out. I was able to retrieve her andโ€ฆ

Cons
  • Some difficulties

Emergency Backup Carrier

I bought two of these bags in case we ever need to pack all four of our cats into carriers. The only time I think we'll have to do that is during some sort of evacuation. We have two very good soft gusseted bags that were quite expensive. We take cats in pairs to the vet for check-ups and vaccinations. We never need more than two forwarders. However, I began to think about what we would do if we NEED to put all four cats in the car. I didn't want to buy two more expensive straps that are rarely

Pros
  • O-ring keeps zips from cats escaping
Cons
  • Zero

Good compact bag, bad zipper.

My cat is 9 pounds, this cat carrier fits two! I needed a carrier to replace the old one my cat had outgrown (haven't used it since she was a kitten. I loved this carrier and the compact storage is very attractive. Be careful when opening it, when it opens with *a lot* of force. My cat is very easy to handle and calm. Since I can slide it into almost anything without fuss, I wasn't concerned that it would be easy for me to put it in the carrier But even with that in mind, it was a bit harderโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lightweight, foldable cat carrier is easy to assemble and folds up in seconds
Cons
  • So far so good
