My cat is 9 pounds, this cat carrier fits two! I needed a carrier to replace the old one my cat had outgrown (haven't used it since she was a kitten. I loved this carrier and the compact storage is very attractive. Be careful when opening it, when it opens with *a lot* of force. My cat is very easy to handle and calm. Since I can slide it into almost anything without fuss, I wasn't concerned that it would be easy for me to put it in the carrier But even with that in mind, it was a bit harder than I had hoped Pros: - Lightweight and easy to store - Very roomy - Nice and sturdy when open (one of my main concerns when buying it) Cons: - (One star deducted for the zip) The zips are poorly made and very difficult to close, trying to unzip the zip makes a very loud noise If you are having trouble transporting your cat in a regular carrier x, it doesn't get any easier. - Poor manoeuvrability, you won't be able to bring your cat here unless you have three hands - two to hold the cat and another to hold the carrier. en.-Definitely needs a cage mat, my cat pushed into the corner when carrying it to find support as there is nothing to grab underneath.
