Review on πŸ“Ί Skyworth E20300 40-Inch Full HD Smart TV, LED Android TV with Voice Remote - 1080P Resolution by Michael Lucas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lots of features for the price.

I've known Skyworth for a long time. I have seen her several times traveling in Germany and India. This model is inexpensive and looks quite good thanks to the small frame and modern look. The quad-core processors handle smart apps adequately and everything works as expected. There's an optical output but no adjustable analog output, meaning using amplified speakers with a TV remote to control the volume isn't an option. I used the optical output to power my speakers and just used a separate remote control for them. No big deal really. The internal speakers are slightly better than many TVs of this size. It's a little thicker in the middle than some, so check the dimensions if you have a specific application in mind. That extra thickness compared to my other 32-inch TV in my office is negligible, but the better speakers are worth it if you don't plan on using external audio. The picture is good, but the pre-made scenes for movies, games, etc. aren't fantastic, but honestly they're rarely shown on TV. The picture is bright and the colors are presented decently with some tweaking. As with any TV of this caliber, the screen doesn't quite match. The corners are a bit darker than the center, but that's to be expected for everyday use unless it's an expensive, high-end device. The remote control is very good - it looks good and is very well laid out. Conclusion: That's a lot of TV for little money. It has Revain Prime video, Netflix, various Google features and the casting works flawlessly. Although this company is unknown in the US, it has been around for a long time. I think in this price range you probably couldn't do better. I'm tempted to give it a 5 because I don't know of anyone else that offers the same performance at such a low price. It's easy to set up, but it does require some tweaking to tame a bright image, but when it's done it's perfectly acceptable.
