It's see-through, snaps into place and feels strong enough to protect the corners and edges of your new iPad. However, I found it tiring after a few weeks of use. I don't have a stand or grip so I bought another case that fits my needs as I was upgrading from an iPad mini and underestimated the size and weight of a 10 inch iPad. Not the fault of the product or the sellers but something to consider if your iPad is a new purchase for you and I still give the item and shipping 5 stars because it matches the description.
