I've been hiking in deep snow and ice for the past few days and while the Horror is fairly light to wear in winter, my feet stayed warm (-16C.
Just a few inches of snow with ice underneath). The profile held up and down the hills well.
Pros
- I've enjoyed my Sense Ride 3 in both regular and GTX. Added thickness around the medial side of the toe.
Cons
- The color combination Copen Blue/Black/Evening Primrose is not only stylish but also makes this trail running shoe stand out.
