If it weren't for the Jasput logo, it looks like it was made by Apple itself!

This cable is undeniably well made with its braided cord, rubberized textured grips on each end for easy insertion and removal, and reinforced cones on both ends where it connects to the Cable that guarantees many years of trouble-free use. The white and silver finish is also in keeping with Apple's color tradition, and the Jasput logo is unobtrusive or offensive. Just think about what this adapter is for (a MiniDP extension from a newer Mac with a USB-C/ThunderBolt3 port). This does not mean that the USB-C portion of this cable is a Thunderbolt3 connector. Of course, technically it will fit, since both have the same form factor, but do not transmit a signal. This is very clear in the product description, I was just too lazy to read it at the time. my fault For example, if you are trying to import old video from a DV camcorder and are using this cable somewhere in the long daisy chain required to go from DV to Firewire to DisplayPort to Thunderbolt2 to Thunderbolt3, you have a solution, and this is a much more expensive adapter. Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 for $50. That's not the cable. But for what is advertised, you can't go wrong. It's not even $50.
