Helps suppress TMJ flare-ups
As a TMJ patient who still experiences occasional TMJ flare-ups, I purchased the Speed2Treat system. Although I had undergone jaw restorative treatment in the past to alleviate the root cause of my TMJ, I was warned that I would flare up, especially at times of high stress. The directions were easy for me to follow and I appreciated the "programmed" approach of the 4 week care plan. At the first sign of an exacerbation, the system offers exercises to reduce the exacerbation. For more severe flare-ups, using a splint and neoprene bandages can help reduce the pain associated with flare-ups and improve range of motion.
