I've had many umbrellas over the years. After living in Florida for years and struggling with daily downpours, I've invested in some really good umbrellas that stand up to the wind. This umbrella is prettier and stronger than some of mine that cost twice as much. He's bigger too. The opening function is cool and very important when it's raining sideways and you've just opened your car door. Fumbling around trying to open an umbrella means you'll get wet. The pop function also works to close the umbrella. It works quickly and efficiently in both directions. The umbrella has velcro to fasten when not in use and a sleeve that's a little awkward to put on because it's tight. I like a shoulder bag because I can throw it over my shoulder and not have to think about an umbrella. Five stars for the best umbrella I've ever used!
