A real camper will tell you it's too heavy. I am a total novice camper and backpacker. When I first got this tent I was so impressed with its compactness. The pack size of the tent is relatively small. But as I said, the inexperienced tourist is here. You should expect these things from $300 tents. In any case, this tent withstands wind and rain well and is quite spacious. Assembling and setting up is also not difficult. This tent was so easy to set up I thought I was doing something wrong. No, it's just a great tent. I like the triple tent for two because I'm selfish and love the extra space...because I'm not a real tourist. So yes, all this chatter is just to tell you that if you like camping, this is a really great tent. It is small and light and does not take up much space. However, it is not as bright as the colors on the web. It looks more like dark blue with brown.
