Received today. Playing with 2 USB 3.0 cables (3ft each), no power cable but that's fine, the USB 3.0 ports on my main PC power this unit. When both PCs are connected, the mouse and keyboard are switched with a simple press of a button on the device. There is a delay when switching from my laptop to the gaming desktop (3-4 seconds) but that doesn't bother me too much, I'm just glad it works. Aesthetically, I like the gray polished look. With a sleek, low profile design, you get the expected USB look and feel with option type. I haven't seen them in a cubic design where all ports are on the back, saving desk space, but it's better made and works right out of the box.
