I just received it today. I was concerned after reading the reviews about poor stitching, staining and fitting. I didn't read them until I ordered, I probably wouldn't have. BUT I AM SO HAPPY I MADE IT! I checked it carefully after opening it, no problem. I washed it straight away on a delicate wash. I just put it on the bed and couldn't be happier. It's so soft, it fits perfectly. Just a wreck, the cat is in love with him. I had to fight her to make my bed, now I can't get her off her. The pads are perfect for a standard pillow, the duvet is big enough to hang down the sides. The people who said it didn't fit their king must have an odd bed or ordered the wrong size. I highly recommend this set. Let's hope it lasts longer than some reviews say. UPDATE TWO DAYS LATER: After two nights of sleep I've noticed the thread has unraveled at the seams, there is one spot that looks worn, that's odd. There is nothing I could do in my 2 nights sleep that would cause such problems. My husband and I are in recession so there was no activity other than sleep for those 2 nights. I wish I was busy enough to hurt him. I will definitely send it back. I hope that the new one will not have any problems, because I really liked it. it sucks
