This blanket is VERY well made. After sleeping under it for 3 nights I noticed that the arthritic pain in my shoulder, hip and knee joints was GONE! However, I sent the duvet back because it was too heavy for me - I had trouble making my bed (barely able to lift the duvet) and could not roll over in bed with the duvet on. (I am 85 years old, I have weak arms, hands and shoulders). The first night after sleeping under my regular blanket, I woke up with pain in my knees, shoulders and lower back. Although the 20 lb blanket was recommended due to my body weight, I think I might try the 15 lb blanket to see if it helps with my arthritic joint pain.
