Nothing short of a spectacular product for picky eaters, great ingredients, low calories, for dogs and cats

This product is literally nothing short of a spectacular product for picky eaters on a prescription diet. My 19-year-old cat had kidney failure and was rapidly losing weight; He needed a prescription diet that provided calories but didn't eat given his condition. Bought this more or less blindly - wanted a topper that was easy to apply, that was also nutritious, affordable and well reviewed - and he ate it. Now towards the end, nothing but pureed baby food (and then nothing at all) worked, but it did for a while. Even better results with my slightly overweight puppy. He's always been a picky eater but has gone from 18lbs to 23lbs and definitely needs to lose weight. My sister is a vet and recommended a very high fiber and protein dry food that I'm sure tastes like a mix of wasa crackers and cardboard. Needless to say, he was a big "uh-uh!" So I found my old bag of SuperGravy leftovers and smeared them and Enzo over the disgusting kibble. Sure, he prefers wet food, treats, or french fries, but he eats all his food. I even found that he took an interest in it when I was in a hurry by simply sprinkling some kibble on top of the kibble. Three notes: 1. The original formula (about five years ago?) has changed. I ran out of the old stuff, so I bought a new one (with a bit of hesitation, not knowing if it would have the same "ringing" as the old one, which had buffalo instead of beef). But the old version didn't "melt" when mixed with warm water. This new material mixes easily even with cold water. And my dog doesn't seem to have any problems with the new formula. At first I was worried but now I'm quite happy because he's easier to work with and he likes it too.2. I don't use as much as recommended. My dog is small and I give her 3 1/2 cups of RX a day. I use about half a scoop at a time, with or without water. This may not be the most economical option if you have a large dog that eats more but only provides a little enough smell and taste to keep them happy.3. I was very shocked to see that both Fakespot and ReviewMeta gave these ratings of "Fail" and "F", meaning the sites pick up that there are fake and/or motivated reviews here. Well I haven't read all the reviews and it would be a shame if this company eventually started paying people for positive reviews, but I will say myself that this is a life saver (literally in my cat's case) and the ingredients seem, for mine inexperienced eye to be great. I even left a review on ReviewMeta saying I was surprised to see the review and as a very satisfied customer I am really happy with it. So if you are hesitant, we strongly encourage you to try this topper. It's not the most economical option, but it's definitely good, as it's been tested on two different animals, which were profitable and did well with both dogs and cats.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not for everyone
