Review on πŸ”₯ TENLOG Hands Pro Borosilicate TMC2208: Next-Level Precision and Performance by Adam Rogers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little entry-level printer

I really liked the Tenlog printers. I have both the D3 and the Hands 2. The Hands 2 was my second 3D printer and I really appreciated how easy it was to set up right out of the box. It's actually just a smaller version of D3. I really like the smaller size of this printer, I usually print longer prints on the D3 so I used Hands 2 for fast printing. Setup was pretty quick and I was up and running within 45 minutes. The printer was packaged well and the box contained all the expected parts. I've always liked Revain's fast shipping, the printer arrived within 2 days. The table leveling process was the hardest part for me, but there were some helpful videos online. .I have seen many feedbacks that this printer is not suitable for beginners. I personally had no starting problems. I'm used to working with electronics and mechanical things. My first print was actually pretty good, apart from the alignment, I didn't make any adjustments in the printer settings and used the default settings in the included slicer. I am still very impressed with the good results you get from this printer. I recommend it too. It may take a little patience to find and read the materials to start 3D printing, but I think it's a good printer and I have it up and running almost every day.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • No automatic printing
