Update in a few weeks: seems to be overheating or something. In the morning everything works fine but one day the sun comes out Android Auto/Carplay takes forever to load and when it does load it has connectivity issues I've tried all the cables I have and yes they are data cables so if you don't want to get lost half way just go through it. There aren't any instructions but it's pretty hard to mess up, every plug is different so just plug in what fits, you can't plug the wrong one in. There are good videos on YouTube on how to disassemble an old stereo, but it actually is just plug and play and it works straight away steering wheel controls and everything that fits my 2004 lexus rx330 doesn't work but i tried anyway and it works as you can see in photographs. *You need to buy a resistor for the AC to work* Luckily I bought a dash kit from Metra and they gave me instructions and a resistor to make it work. Otherwise, your air conditioner will freeze or turn off at the level you last left it at. And you will see an error message on the top screen if you have a GPS screen.
