I love these mattress pads and spring protectors. They were, from my point of view, a way of getting dressed. These aren't typical mattress pads, so they're harder to put on, but overall they're not that bad. I've read some of the more negative reviews as I always do when buying from Revain or anywhere else. Reading the negative comments I took that into account before purchasing but decided to purchase as the positive reviews far outweigh the negative ten to one. When the product arrived, I myself, a 45-year-old disabled woman, put it on the mattress and box spring. Considering I'm disabled, it wasn't as difficult as it seemed to others. Another negative review was that it was very slippery and noisy and you had to put a piece of fabric between the tread and the mattress to keep them in place. I haven't found any problem with this at all. Another post about being loud, well that's nonsense. It's very quiet and very soft. The product is well made, but if you're not careful when putting it on, it can tear at the seams, which I don't think will be the fault of the manufacturer, but the handling of the product in the application. I find a great product for the money and would buy it again at any time. However, note that while they protect your mattress and box spring, they are not easy to take off, wash and put back on. So buy another Cya mattress topper so the regular mattress topper can be removed if something punctures, washed. and can be applied for again promptly and without great difficulty.
