Hello! The mother of a very curious 16 month old baby is here. We are a military family and drilling doors is not an option as we always have a lease. I needed something quick to secure more than half of the doors in our home and these locks definitely met our needs. It takes them seriously two seconds to "set" once you're sure your door lever has enough clearance to move freely when the unit is in the unlocked position. What I really like is that I can currently unlock the top latch because my son just figured out how to pull it down (see pic). We're currently raising all the levers instead of pulling all the levers to open the doors, which saves us a few seconds at each door. Everything fits together, you know? Of course, once he figured out how to press the levers, we need to hold both latches in the locked position. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to protect their home from children.
