EDIT: contacted company because I had a faulty plug. Great customer service to fix a broken plug! Highly recommended! Original Review: I have other Smart Jacks that also connect to the Smart Life app and really wanted to like this Smart Jack. I was pleased that it also has two outputs (like the other plug I have) that should be configured independently. But for some reason this doesn't happen to me. While each switch has a button to turn the outlet on and off, and I can turn them off individually using the app, they don't connect in the same way as my other plug. After the smart plug is added to the mobile app, an image appears depicting the plug with a switch for each, or a switch to turn them both on or off, but I can only name them up to 10 characters (which actually isn't the case is ) . not so much). My favorite thing to do is add sockets to Alexa so I can use my phone or just tell "her" what to do with individual switches. IT WON'T WORK WITH MINE. Although the app connected and told me it found a new switch and is ready to control it. However, I can only turn both switches on or off at the same time, defeating the purpose of two independent switches. He says it has other features like light sensor night light, power usage information, it doesn't work for me like other smart plugs. These are very useful features in my other forks from Aigital and Verlife but not this one. New additions to the review: After getting the new plug it was quickly added to the Smart Life app and works as intended allowing you to control the two plugs, naming, energy use etc. The night light works now too! Definitely better than before!
