A cable did not work. The cable that worked damaged the keyboard I used with it. The keyboard now does not work with either a cable or a computer. Please note that the fine print indicates that these cables may not be compatible with some devices. Perhaps this warning should be placed more prominently. I don't trust other cables to safely charge my phone, I am returning these cables.
