Quality of parts is good. The connectors appear to be solid and the welding cable has decent insulation. The heat shrink material was thick. However, when I connected my components, I tested the setup with my multimeter. I haven't read that this is weird. I went back and looked at the connectors and found that the cable had slipped right out of the connector. It wasn't a peak of stress so I'm not sure why. When I inspected the crimp, I saw that it wasn't very deep and shallow, which didn't prevent the connection from slipping. All of this was covered with heat shrink tubing. Only when it failed did the open connection allow me to discover the weakness. Better crimping would have prevented this. I think shrinking is more work than crimping. I will re-crimp this connection myself. I bought a few size combos but now I don't trust them. I'll probably remove the shrink from all of them and re-crimp them for reassurance.
