CANNOT BE USED AS A TELEPHONE WITH ATT. Don't get me wrong, this is a great tablet and it can function like a different company's phone. But after 3 days and an incredible circus with ATT, I proved that you can move the phone's SIM card and use the tablet as a phone, but only until ATT forces you to register a new device. ATT includes a software switch that makes it impossible to use your tablet as a phone through the ATT line. What ATT wants is for you to buy a SIM card for your tablet and pay $10 a month for a second line to connect your tablet to your phone. phone through unreliable software called NumberSync. I say unreliable because I actually tried it and even ATT couldn't get it to work. To make matters worse, I had to go down to fewer devices instead of being able to add more and SEE! My family abroad uses tablets as phones and has no problem across 4 continents. I returned to the phone, which I cannot read. Considering canceling ATT entirely and switching to TALKATONE on my tablet - no sim card needed! And every ATT employee asks me to read the numbers off the SIM card for every phone call, despite my explanations I don't see it!
