Looking for ICE SILK cooling for hot flashes and head temperature regulation? this is not for you I can say I am now a pillow expert having bought every pillow I could find in store and here on Amazon. From regular to blue/white memory foam, from shredded to orthopedic, etc. you name it. I don't have neck and shoulder issues, but I'm a HOT sleeper who doesn't change positions often, so when do I wake up? Everything just hurts (right neck to right lower back) and my bed is smoking too. BTW I have the coolest TEMPUR BREEZE bed that costs $6,000 but there are people like me you only weigh 105 pounds? The body just HEATS for no reason, even when it's just resting, reading, watching Netflix and not moving, doing nothing. Many people have the same problems and we only feel it as we get older. All shape memory foams have the same standard problem, they are THICK, don't give enough support, just more problems. The best solution is CRUSHED memory foam or a double sized pillow. So far I've bought 12 memory foams of different styles and cooling systems (bamboo, tencel, etc.). Some say it's ICE silk, but it's NOT! Don't waste time. I'm a little frustrated with how they sell their products. And for true cooling memory foam, ICE SILK COMFICLOUD is the best here on Amazon! nothing beats their ICE SILK cooling, trust me. The only problem is that they only have standard sizes. I wish they had queen and king sizes so you have more room to move your head when the ICE SILK gets hot. Yes you don't have an air conditioned pillow don't dream lol! It's only a temporary coolness, but not HOT. Unlike a regular pillow, it also regulates the temperature of the head, keeping it cool while you sleep. This ZPECC shredded memory foam, which I found second best among ICE SILKs, has good support but isn't too thick and doesn't sink. To see their FULL thickness, I took a plastic trash bag and put them in to EXPAND while I wash the pillowcases, and voila! Very thick and comfortable, until then you can also remove the shredded styrofoam to customize your pillow. 3rd Best - Clara Clark and Vantell for cooling pads (Vantell cools but the pillowcase starts to peel off after just 17 days).
