My wife and I have been using GVM products for several years now and have always been impressed with the quality of their products given the affordable price. We have her ring light as well as a set of 3 dual color LED lights. They're both used by the ton and this studio light/softbox kit completes our lighting setup. This 100w GVM bulb has excellent color accuracy and a great adjustable color range from 3200K to 5600K. It turns out to be very bright for my use cases. I see this as a great purchase if you are a YouTuber or content creator. With a softbox attachment, it emits a nice soft light that's ideal for those shooting content at a table in low light but struggling to get the sharp image that the most popular YouTubers always seem to have. A lighting setup like this can make a world of difference and really enhance the production value of your content, even if you don't have a state-of-the-art camera. Includes soft case for adjustable stand, foldable soft box and soft case. box cover. It also includes a nice soft pouch with the GVM logo for storing and protecting the GVM-100W studio light, power cord and focusing reflector. The kit is well designed and folds down into a small form factor for easy storage. The design of the softbox is well thought out down to the smallest detail and is easy to assemble/fold. It took me less than a minute to set it up and it took me less than 3 minutes to fully install the kit. If time is of the essence to you, this kit is for you. App control (GVM-LED app) is a nice feature if you need it, but I find using the built-in controls is just as easy. There's a nice OLED screen that gives you color temperature and brightness information, which is a nice bonus. Fan noise is very low with this lighting kit, and I don't see a problem with a shotgun mic, boom mic, or mic. lapel microphone I also tested it with a microphone connected to my camera and it didn't seem to pick up any noise from the fan, which was great. Overall I was very impressed with this light and very happy to be able to use it for a variety of purposes. Projects we have such as acting selfies, YouTube videos and interviews for our company. GVM knocks it out of the park once again, offering a great lighting setup at an affordable price. What are you waiting for? Get this light!
