I was torn between five stars and four and decided four was a more honest rating. Scissors are very good for cutting chicken bones and are very easy to clean. I have a bit of a problem with not having two closed finger and thumb loops. Sometimes the blades don't open the way I would like without a thumb hole, otherwise they are very well made and a long service life can be expected. UPDATE: This is what they look like after about three months of limited use. It is clear that not everything is made of stainless steel.
