I have three generations of the Corsair K70 keyboard including the non-RGB (red LED) version, the K70 RGB MK.1 version and the K70 RGB MK.2 Rapid Fire. While the previous two generations were still 100% functional, the keys were starting to show signs of age and wear. Since there are no double-shot Corsair PBT replacement keycap sets, I decided to take a chance with these HyperX Pudding PBT keycaps. These keycaps are 99% compatible with Corsair K70 keyboards, except for the space bar and two Windows keys. The original Corsair spacebars were in great condition, so I reused the original spacebars as well as the original Windows keys. It should be noted that the right Windows key requires a light scraping of the right side of the key to slide freely into place. Once installed, you cannot tell that the key has ever been changed to match. Overall I'm very happy with the end results as these keys show RGB and LED effects better and brighter than Corsair's original factory keys, they are more durable and the HyperX Pudding Keycap PBT is about 1/3 cheaper. Set of caps Corsair PBT. I am planning to wait until the Corsair PBT keycaps are back in stock to place an order to match my K70 RGB MK.2 Rapid Fire keyboard so I can do a direct comparison of the PBT keys to the HyperX PBT keycaps can perform.
