Review on 🥤 Heiffen Water: 30 oz BPA-Free Reusable Water Bottle with Time Marker for Optimal Hydration - 50 Strong by Dan Dickey

I bought 4 of these with different designs. They're $60, they're cute, but they smell awful even after being thoroughly washed and dried, and they've sat uncovered for several days. When I received them, each bottle came with an insert stating to wash before use and keep unlocked. I have a question, what is that smell and why doesn't it go away? The bottles say they are BPA free but plastic class #7 which is the code for BPA and now I'm scared I'll poison my family with it. The smell comes from clean bottles. Plastic #7 puts at risk of toxins penetrating everything, according to Plastic on a numeric scale. Is that what I smell like poison? I bought these to buy a safe product that is made in the USA. I've looked everywhere for non-Chinese water bottles and found 50 strong ones, but now I doubt the safety of this product.
