Bought this table to set up a goat perch microscope. It was the perfect size for my room and went well with everything else in the room. It was well packaged - each item was wrapped to protect against splinters and in styrofoam sheets to cushion it in the box. All parts are marked. When assembling, refer to the illustrations in the instructions to ensure the support rods are on the side you want to make the backing. That way you don't have to repeat it (like me!). I assembled it myself but it would be helpful to have an extra pair of hands when setting up the desktop supports. Although I had to re-do the top supports, I assembled it in about 40 minutes. The table is stable enough for my purposes and once the top was screwed down it didn't wobble anymore. Mount it close to where you want, as the bookcase and desk are held together with only two screws, making it inconvenient to move them alone. Although it would be easier with two people. For a small desktop I would recommend this one. Looks good, lots of storage space, reasonable price.
